Discussing Energy Economics on the Internet

About This Site

Posted by Cheryl Morgan on the January 3rd, 2007

As with most small businesses, earning money tends to take precedence over keeping interesting web sites updates. The current version of the MorganEnergy web site is therefore significantly less ambitious than previous incarnations. The main thing we have kept is an interest in academic papers about energy economics. We’ll mainly post news about new papers, but as time goes on posts about favorite or significant older papers may appear.

We hope this service will be useful to other people. In particular we have noticed that energy economics web sites don’t appear to have caught on to syndication yet. This site, on the other hand, will allow you to monitor new publications from a wide range of sites simply by subscribing to our posts feed. We hope you will find this useful.

In addition we are continuing our association with Dr. F.P. Sioshansi whose excellent magazine, EEnergy Informer, continues to be a fine source of informed comment on the energy industry. We will be publishing sample articles from the magazine on a regular basis.

If you are wondering what has happened to the old site, we have it archived and are looking through the material to see what might be worth putting back online. If you are looking for something, please let us know.

For the technically-minded, this site is built using WordPress, and the design is based on the Green Marinée theme by Ian Main.
